Day Three

Day three called for 40 miles from the west side of Flint to St. Johns. The first five miles i ran today were the most boring, most flat five miles of my life. I could see the place to finish two miles before i arrived. Today was very overcast and the wind was blowing in our faces which really helped with the heat. Our directions called for us to run on Central Michigan Railroad, this was a very nice two track road to begin with. About 2 miles into the trail it becomes so overgrown that i am running through weeds that are up to my chest and then the trail just stopped. So i had to reroute and run 2 miles out of my way back to M-21. We continued on M-21 for 11 more miles and finished on Old 127 in St. Johns. Tomorrow is a much need shot distance day because we only have 27 miles to go. So we will ice up tonight and see how it all works out tomorrow.
