Day Two
This morning the alarm went off at 5:45 and believe it or not no one was tired. Last night we were all asleep by 8:30 so 5:45 was a full nights sleep. We headed down to breakfast and then back out to Imlay City for the second day of our run. Todays run called for a 30 miles from Imlay City through Flint. We started the morning out with two cool, easy back to back 5 milers. The the sun started to heat up the blacktop and at the peak of our run it was 85 out. Today's run was much more hilly than day one but it was also much more interesting since we ran right through the cities of Lapeer, Davidson, and Flint. Running through Flint we kept our heads low and made sure to mid our own business. When i was downtown i saw a woman walking past me wearing a dress and a bulletproof vest, i kid you not. We ended up covering an extra five miles so instead of running 42 miles tomorrow we only have 37. We run on some old rail road tracks tomorrow so that should both interesting and a nice change of pace. So far this run we have ran 77 miles in 13 hours. I would like to thank Tony Conley for our daily interviews we look forward to them every morning. For those of you that want to listen to the show we are live every morning at 7:35 am on http://www.1320wils.com/
